From first switch on and following the instruction book I had no trouble getting familier with the Samsung S5230. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Samsung Tocco Silver Phone (23 July 2010)For my son - he hasn't used it yet as where we live we cant use vodafone and it needs to be unlocked. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great phone (30 June 2010)For the price you cannot go wrong. This phone does exactly what I wanted it for. Great for texting with the on screen qwerty keyboard. Many features that I have not even got in to yet. Great phone. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great phone.....when it works!!! (02 May 2010)I bought this phone at Christmas 2010 from Car Phone Warehouse. I like it, but it's such a shame that it doesn't work as it should. Firstly, the phone regularly receives texts multiple times (someone sends me a text, I get it 10 times). Inconvenient at best. Secondly, the phones sends a text mutiple times (I send a text, it sends it twice). Costly, 'cos I have to pay for it. I reported this to Samsung, they sent me to CPW, I went to CPW, they told me to take it to another CPW in another City, at my expense, to get it repaired. I asked for a refund under the Sale of Goods Act, the assistant said no. So I have a brand new phone, that doesn't work, and no one will repair it. Also, it has proved impossible to set up emails on the phone. You can't set it up using the instructions, and no website can help. Samsung would help, but only if you ring the premium number phoneline. Great, you pay to find out how to have a faulty phone fixed. All in all it's a lovely looking phone, that would be excellent if it worked. However, if you buy it, be prepared to be disappointed. If you buy it from CPW, don't say you weren't warned. My advice is to save up and buy the Iphone, but not from CPW. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() good but not great (26 April 2010)my first forray into touch phones, wanted an i phone but they are still very exspensive so my missus has had the tocco for about a month, she used to have the lg cookie and that put me off touch phones as it was very un-responsive,but i thought the tocco was loads better so i took the plunge. The tocco has some cool features like the panoramic photo setting and the widget style menu which some people have slated i think is a gimic certainly but it comes in handy ,the screen is clear for photos ok no flash but for only 3.2 pixels i find it takes clear pictures. The only down side when scrolling through music tracks it can be hit and miss with response when trying to locate the tracks but really for the money i can live with that all in all if you want a starter touch phone while you are waiting for the i phone to come down in price this will suit you |
