Customer Reviews:

VERY VERY SLOW (16 March 2010)
3 gigs of music in 16 minutes. I have a usb HD that will copy the exact same folder in 2 minutes flat. I really cannot recommend this drive because of the terrible speed issues. Very disappointing.

  Sandisk Cruzer 16gb (15 March 2010)
Adequately robust; a little slow but perfectly useable; neat and convenient; retraction mechanism works quite positively. Came without any software.

Cheap if you just want storage (15 March 2010)
I already have a Cruzer Titanium 8GB, which works exactly as expected (including the U3 launchpad and software, which I do use) and so this 16GB model at about the same price seemed a bargain. However, mine came with no U3 software pre-installed, despite it saying it does in the description on Amazon. This is OK for me, as I bought the drive simply to store mp3 files on, but if you expect it to have the U3 and bundled programs, you may be disappointed (although you can download them from the Sandisk website and install on the stick yourself). The storage space is 16,015,360,000 bytes, or 14.9GB (if you use the usual definition of a GB). They do state on the packaging (once you get to see it) that what they call 1GB = 1 million bytes.

Good device and very cheap (15 March 2010)
I was looking for a memory stick with sufficient capacity to store several movies/TV programmes to watch on the train, but didnt want to pay much for it. This device was one of the cheapest and performs exactly as required. The retractable USB plug saves fiddling around with a highly losable cap. The orange light is of no bother and if it had been, I would stick some insulating tape over it.

  Adequate (14 March 2010)
Good points - design & value for money.

Bad points - slow write speed (3mbs)& over bright led.

Overall adequate for money.
