Customer Reviews:

Nice but not deliverable (23 June 2010)
Most Users report that it is an excellNent device for Home Network allowing fairly good connection for Users at good upload and download speeds.

UNFORTUDNATELY DON'T USE CERTAIN CARRIERS for delivery as they lose the item.

  easy fit (11 May 2010)

Product was easy to fit and works well, but found it impossible to register the product online, finished up registering it by telephone.

Poor manufacturing quality at Netgear (09 May 2010)
I bought these to connect my Panasonic tv to the internet using the built-in Ethernet connection. Although almost all pre-purchase reviews said that these worked straight from the box - mine didn't. The two units were never able to 'see' each other even when plugged into the same double wall socket. The blue network lights only ever flashed a couple of times when plugged in and then stayed off. Netgear help desk (based in Asia) wasted 25 minutes of my time, cut me off once - so you have to go through it all again, and ended up saying that they recommended I get a wireless device instead to go with my router. In the end I got the case reference and sent it back to the vendor who refunded the money immediately. I went to my local PC World and, on the recommendation of my daughter who has them already, bought equivalent Devolo devices which have worked faultlessly from the second that they were plugged in. I went for Netgear initially because my 4 year old wireless router has always performed faultlessly.

Does what it says (03 May 2010)
Like others I was a little concerned that this product would work due to some erratic wiring in the house. But after plugging in - through an extension lead as well - it worked straight away with no problems. Good speed, not much else to say really. Easy setup, does what it says

  Home Network (23 April 2010)
Very easy to setup and well worth the cost.I was setup and working in 15 mins. Would reccommend it for Amature and Professionals.
