| | Customer Reviews: Good camera - awful software (02 November 2008)This camera is great for the price and does all that you need for snap shots of days out and the like. What lets it down is the amazingly tedious software that you have to use with it. It is annoying and should be unnecessary however you must use it to transfer the pictures off the camera. It would be much better if you could just access it as regular USB removable storage. If you think you can tolerate the appalling software then I'd recommend this camera. Sadly it sucks too much to give it the full five stars. Kodak Easyshare (26 September 2008)Excellent and easy to use but the battery life is very poor I have changed the battery twice and have only taken a few pictures. Think before you buy (20 September 2008)I am very disappointed, I bought this camera for my 17 yr old son, The first night he got it, he took it out and dropped it, it shattered. So he thought he would buy himself the same thing, the first night he had the second one, he bumped it while in it's case, the camera went dead and can not be used. So yes it might be a good camera but so very weak, oh and just don't take it out. After spending £100 my son still has no camera. Talk about bad luck. Good (while it lasted!) (02 September 2008)Very good performance and features for the money. The 7M pixels is maybe a bit excessive: the resolution being limited by the lens and the picture compression, but this is perfectly OK for family and holiday photos. You'll need an additional SD card (about £4 for 2GB) to store 2000 pictures or so.
