| | Customer Reviews: HP Scanjet G2410 (22 July 2010)The scanner arrived promptly, but I experienced great difficulty installing the accompanying software. I requested help from the HP Website, but this was insufficient. Fortunately I was able to install a downloaded version of the software with the assistance of a pc expert. I am now satisfied with the, albeit slow, performance of this item Satisfactory purchase (17 July 2010)Scanjet G2410 purchased to work with Windows 7. Loaded easily and works very well. No problems. just received the scanner (02 June 2010)I just received the scanner today.Setting it up was easy enough,but it's been making some loud funny noises,I was wondering if that was normal,since it's my first scanner.The scans came out okay,and it works really well with photoshop.Now if it didn't sound as if it was dying,I'd be happy.I'll have to see how it goes,I hope I don't have to return it,because I find that really annoying,having to return things. Very good (01 June 2010)Does what it says on the tin! Easy to use and good quality images produced. a cheap but capable home scanner (28 May 2010)I am very pleased with this scanner. It replaced an old Umax which wouldn't run on my new Windows 7 64 bit computer and, whilst it is rather slower than the old Umax, I like the configurable menus that let me define default settings for the various types of scanned image. I also find useful, its ability to scan direct to pdf, which my old one couldn't do. |
