fantastic workout but pathetic resistance band (15 March 2010)
This is in my opinion simply the best fitness game for the Wii .It certainly gets me puffed out . A good workout , choose your own fitness levels and create your own workouts . For some reason i have difficulty with the bicep curls , the wii remote is difficult to get in the right place for the Wii to recognise the movement.

The resistance band is pathetic and my granny would find it useless too. Buy a resistance band from a sports shop ( beware because many of them arn't long enough to enable you to do the upright exercises) I bought the reebok one with a handles which is fine .

Another tip is to use dumbells instead , cut out some cardboard collars and put these on the dumbells to make it wide enough to hold the wii remote between the discs. Resistance this was is far better and you get a much better work out . I found this method great on workouts like bent over rows and tricep kickbacks.

What I love about this game is that it is varied and interesting . You won't get bored with it because you can create your own workouts to suit what you like

The american trainer can become a little tiresome at times and I would like the ability to shut him up with his annoying expressions like "way to go" and "way to put your back into it" , and telling me that his "grandmother could do better"...(well with the wii active resistance band she won't ,so I dont have anything to worry about do I ??)

Good training program for beginners (15 March 2010)
I bought this game after recommendations from friends. I thought it was a great way to start exercising as the training program varies on a daily basis and even gives you days off. You work out for 2 days and have 1 day off and work out for another 2 days etc. It has 3 different levels, I chose medium as I would be pretty unfit. It really focuses on lunges and squats for your lower body and bicep curls for upper body. The only reason that I didn't give this 5 stars is that it does no stomach exercises, but it is a great way to start exercising

  Great workout (09 March 2010)
Recently bought this game wanting to get more in shape. although the workouts are good some can be a little repetitive and you need to vary between ea workout and ea more workouts aswell my fitness coach cardio workout and the wii otherwise you get a tad bored

Really good - just be careful with the remotes! (08 March 2010)
I love this so far, but as mentioned in other reviews, you do have to be careful with the remotes. Once you have the hang of that, this program gives you a proper workout and a real sweat! I really feel like I am achieving something. I still alternate with some Wii Fit Yoga on other days, for a lower impact workout and overall conditioning. You don't have to use the balance board either, though I had it anyway and sometimes use it to mix things up and make a change.

Given my happiness with this, I'll probably buy the 'More Workouts' once I have finished the 30 day challenge, as one thing this is missing from this is anything that works the abs significantly.

It is slightly misleading to tag this as a 'game' - Wii Fit, maybe, but this is much more a proper fitness program than a game.

  Love it!!!!! (05 March 2010)
This is just what I expected to work out at my own pace. Good workouts, nice design & good music.
