| | Customer Reviews: Good (28 July 2010)I've had these for a while now. The sound quality is good, and they are fairly comfortable for sustained use. I haven't used the microphone much so the microphone spends much of it's time detached from the headset, but when I have used it, it has been good quality. However, recently each headphone has developed a strange crackling noise showing that it struggles transmitting lower bass frequencies, which is very annoying. Not for X box (28 July 2010)I bought these From amazon but had to return them because they are not for Xbox. Pc only. they do appear to be a good headphone though. Good quality, a bit dusty though (20 July 2010)Got them earlier than expected, the sound quality is great and they fit comfortably, although the earpieces themselves attract a lot of dust and hair, especially animal fur and can become hard to clean and look dirty. Great value for money. Not worth it. (17 July 2010)Sound: The sound on these headphones is brilliant! It's so clear and perfect while in-game. I did find it a little basey at one or two points while I was testing it out, but otherwise, I would rate the sound alone as 5/5! Voice: The detachable microphone had originally put me off buying these, but other than a couple of issues setting it up I found the voice to be pretty good. However, people listening to me could still hear as much background noise as usual even with my microphone sensitivity turned almost all the way down, so the noise-cancelling thing didn't seem to work for me. Still, 4/5 as I was happy with the clarity. Comfort: For the first 15 minutes of wearing these, I had to constantly adjust them trying to get them to sit right without hurting my ears and jaw. It took me a while to get used to them, but even then I found them VERY uncomfortable. I couldn't use this product for more than half an hour at a time and would rate the comfort 0/5 All in all, if you have a small head, these are great, but if you have a normal sized head or big head, then don't bother cause they aren't worth the money. I'm disappointed that this headset, with great sound and a great mic, is so uncomfortable as it would have been perfect for what I wanted. I wouldn't recommend this headset to other people though and I myself will be returning it and getting something easier to wear while gaming. I've had cheaper headsets that have been better than this! Reasonable sound quality but VERY UNCOMFORTABLE (15 July 2010)I received these earlier today and already I am considering reselling them, the mic quality is excellent - no problems there and sound quality is okay even if it seems a little tinny. These however are very uncomfortable, they seem to press very tightly around the ears - seriously if you have a large head DO NOT BUY THESE. Expected better for the price. |
