The case is slim lined and not too bulky and it doesn't add that much weight to my iPod. It is a great colour and very stylish! Only small issue is that you have to make sure the iPod is right the way in the case to be able to plug your headphones in, but don't take this as a disadvantage, its a great little product! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() top quality (16 November 2008)Top quality product, extremely well made and a perfect fit.Shop around, I only paid £4.99! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great buy (15 November 2008)This item is great. Looks smart and I can add attachments easily. The only annoying thing is that when i am on the train I do not have easy access to the volume controls but I can live with that. Overall a great product. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fine if you only use your iPod as a PDA (12 November 2008)As others have pointed out, the case is finished well with nice embossed leather; the headphone socket is obscured by a piece of elastic (which is pretty inexcusable) and the volume controls are only accessible after you've opened the cover. The whole point of the 2nd gen iPod touch was pretty much the addition of the volume controls - so to block them off like this is mind-bogglingly bad design. Similarly badly designed, when you're not using the iPod, what are you supposed to do with the headphones? I generally wrap them around the device and hope for the best - and that I can untangle the cable again afterwards! It wouldn't have been very difficult to have added a couple of extra velcro loops or something to secure the cable? But no - the designers obviously didn't actually try to use their product; just so long as it looks nice... I mostly use my iPod touch to play music - pretty logical - but I didn't really think through the process of using this case before buying it; if you want to change volume, change track, rate the track, whatever, then you need to flip it open before doing anything; the screen and buttons are then accessible, but are frequently hard to get to. All in all, it's pretty frustrating having it on the iPod; if it is going to be used as a travel protector in a handbag, for example, or your iPod touch is only ever used as a PDA or games machine, then it's pretty good (apart from the headphone storage issue). All in all, I'm glad that I didn't pay more than a fiver for it - although it took 5 days longer to arrive (from indigostarfish) than the iPod did, ordered at the same time, from Amazon proper; receiving it has been rather anti-climatic, and it's definitely not going back on my iPod. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great (04 November 2008)a brilliant product one that should be considered buying for a gift or ect. the velcro can be annoying but only very rarely the best case on amazon or even ebay for the best price |
