It looked smart and shredded the odd couple of sheets efficiently. However the first time I put 6 sheets through it jammed and despite hours of effort trying to clear the jam it just won't work any more. My previous shredder, a much cheaper model, lasted years and years. Excellent . (17 June 2010)It is an excellent shredder it does not need to be emptied that often and it does not clogg up like the last one. it`s A Must Have (16 June 2010)I`m very pleased with the Acco Rexel Style+ 12liter it`s well designed and the pull out tray is easy to operate it cut`s paper to 4x23cm that was the selling point for me, and i even like the colour :-),All in all i`m very please with my purchase. If this shredder had legs she would be a model lolololol, It even arrived a day early then expected So all in all if your looking for a shredder that`s stylish and cuts small go get this one you won`t be dissapointed :-) ACCO Rexel Style Plus shredder (15 June 2010)Excellent home or light office shredder - can cope easily with 5 sheets at a time, properly shreds credit/plastic cards and the blades don't require to be greased. The front drawer makes it easy to empty and its medium size means it sits neatly under a desk without needing to be emptied too often. Noise is average and finally it looks quite stylish for such a utilitarian item! So, all in all it does exactly what it's supposed to. Too early to say if it will last longer than the 2 years of its Fellowes predecessor..... Delivery was on schedule as expected. wish i'd had it years ago (23 May 2010)i wouldn't be without this now. use it every day after opening the post so paperwork doesn't build up. although when i started with it i had a mountain to put through and it never cut out once. so why not 5 stars? well it is difficult to empty once it gets full and what it really needs is some kind of warning light to tell you to empty it. you can't use it without the bin being fully in place - it just won't work so you do have to get a feel for how full it is and empty it in plenty of time. but at this price i shouldn't really complain- it's well worth it. |
